Why are my movies/series not downloading?

If your movies or series aren't downloading, it's likely due to one of these reasons:

Browsing from Outside Africa

Labafilm currently serves the local community in Africa only. We're working on expanding to other regions.

Using a VPN

VPNs route your traffic outside Africa. Please disable your VPN to access movies on Labafilm.

Using a Smart TV

Smart TV Access has been disabled as they don't support ads, and ads help keep the service running.

Why are there ads on the site?

Advertisements help us cover server costs, bandwidth, and content hosting expenses. They're essential for keeping Labafilm free for everyone. We do our best to keep ads unobtrusive and relevant.

Seeing "Disable Adblocker" message?

This message appears when an ad-blocker is detected on your device or network. Here's what to do:

Browser Extensions

Check your browser extensions and disable any ad-blocking extensions (e.g., uBlock Origin, AdBlock Plus).

Private DNS on Android

Go to Settings → Search "Private DNS" → Set to "Off" or use dns.google.com

WiFi Router DNS

Some WiFi routers have built-in ad-blocking DNS. Set your device's DNS to Google DNS to bypass this.

Forbidden 403 Error when downloading?

This error means you're using an external download manager (like NeatDownloader) that has been blocked. These tools use aggressive download methods that strain our servers.

✅ Solution:

Use your browser's built-in download feature instead. Simply click the download button and your browser will handle the rest.

1DM, SnapTube, Phoenix, etc. not working?

All third-party mobile download apps that use aggressive/greedy download methods have been blocked to protect our server resources.

Seeing "Blocked" message?

We have started blocking users who misuse our service. Once blocked, the ban is permanent.

⚠️ Please Note:

Use Labafilm responsibly and in the way it's intended. Avoid using bots, scrapers, or any automated tools.

iPhone not working?

iPhones running iOS 15 and below are no longer supported due to outdated browser engines.

Update your iPhone to iOS 16 or above
Try using an Android phone, tablet, PC, or laptop instead

🛠️How to Set Google DNS on Your Device

Follow these step-by-step instructions to change your DNS settings to Google DNS. This will resolve most adblocker-related issues.

Open Settings

Open the Settings app on your Android phone or tablet.

Find Private DNS

Tap on "Connections" or "Network & Internet" (varies by device). Then tap on "Private DNS" or search for "Private DNS" in the settings search bar.

Change DNS Setting

Select "Private DNS provider hostname" and enter:

dns.google.com

Save & Verify

Tap "Save". Open your browser and try loading Labafilm again. The adblocker message should be gone.

💡

If the above doesn't work, set Private DNS to "Off" instead.
